Boudh Hottest At 43 Degree Celsius As 17 Places Record Temperature Of 40 Deg C Or Above In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Boudh recorded the highest temperature of the day as 17 places witnessed temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or above in Odisha on Monday.

The Bhubaneswar-based regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest bulletin, informed that Boudh sizzled at Boudh 43degrees Celsius.

Apart from Boudh, 16 other places recorded temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius today. They are Balasore (40.1), Cuttack (40.2), Bhubaneswar (42.5), Angul (42.1), Baripada (41.2), Jharsuguda (41.4), Sambalpur (41.2), Sundergarh (41.5), Hirakud (40.9), Talcher (41.6), Bhawanipatna (41), Balangir (42.2), Phulbani (40), Titilagarh (42), Sonepur (41) and Nayagarh (42).
