Anandapur: The body of a youth was recovered in Anandapur of Keonjhar district of Odisha on Saturday. The body was found floating on a pond in a mining area of Purunapani village under Hatadihi block in the district.
As per reports, the dead body was first discovered by the locals and they informed the fire department about it.
The fire service personnel reached the spot and recovered the body from the pond.
The deceased has been identified as Baban Sahu of Sadha village who was reportedly missing from last night after he left his home for fishing.
The police has seized the body and sent it for postmortem to the Anandapur hospital. Further investigation of the matter is underway.
