Jajpur: The body of a youth was found floating in high level canal in Khosalipur under Badachana police limits in Jajpur district Odisha on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Nano Hembram. He was working at a garage in Chandikhol area.
Reportedly, the locals spotted the floating body of Nano in the canal and informed to the local police station.
On getting the information, the Dhanmandal Police Out Post team along with the fire fighters from Chandikhol arrived at the spot and initiated the rescue operation.
The cause of the death has not yet been ascertained. The cops have sent the body for autopsy and initiated a further probe into the matter.
