Bhubaneswar: The body of a youth has been found lying under mysterious circumstances in a field on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ashish Ojha. He is a resident of Sisilo village under Balipatna police limits.
Reportedly, Ashish went to meet some of his friends on Wednesday night and did not return. As a result, his panic-stricken family members searched for him, but in vain.
Some locals spotted a body lying in the field near Bodhakhandi-Dhanua River under Balipatna police limits and informed immediately the police.
On getting the information, the cops arrived at the spot and recovered the body. Thereafter, ]Ashish’s family members were informed and his body was identified.
The body has been sent for post-mortem to a nearby hospital to ascertain the exact cause behind his death.
Meanwhile, his family members have alleged that he has been murdered brutally. An investigation has been initiated into the matter.
