Kalahandi: The body of a man was found near the Sikarakupa gate of Kalahandi, Lanjigarh Road railway station.
The man has been identified as Jagannath Bagh, who belongs to Bhawanipatna, Gauntiapada is Lanjigarh Vedanta Medical Officer. He has been working at Lanjigarh Vedanta Hospital since 2005.
As per reports his son’s engagement was held on Wednesday, he was on leave from February 1 and was scheduled to return to work by February 8.
He left for Lanjigarh from Bhawanipatna on Thursday evening. However, his bike was found 200 meters away at the Sikarakupa train gate.
Lanjigarh police have reached the spot and started the investigation.
