Cuttack: The dead body of a newborn baby boy was found abandoned from Birupa river bed under Choudwar police limits in Cuttack district of Odisha this morning.
Reportedly, a local spotted the body while he went to take a bath at the river and immediately informed the local police.
The details of the parent is yet to be ascertained. However, it is being suspected that the body of newborn boy has been thrown off the Birupa bridge.
On getting the information, the local police arrived at the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
The cops have further initiated a probe into the matter.
