Angul: Dead body of a youth with slit throat was found in Bantala area under Angul tehsil of the district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Kashinath Behera.
The locals spotted the body on the roadside and informed the police who rushed to the spot as soon as possible. The cops rescued the body and sent it for an autopsy to the nearest hospital.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the crime to get any clue regarding the death of Behera. However, after initial observation of the body, the Bantala police suspects a murder angle in the death of the youth.
