Malkangiri: In a tragic incident, at least four persons including three women and a child met watery grave in Barlabandh canal of Balimela reservoir in Malkangiri district on Tuesday after a boat carrying them capsized .
The deceased have been identified as Budri Sisha, Dohara Sisha, Radhika Sisha, and Tulsa Sisha.
The trio was on their way to a nearby village in some work along with three others when the mishap took place at around 10.30 AM. As the boat overturned and sunk due to some reason all seven slipped into the water.
While three of the victims managed to save their lives by swimming to the shore following the incident, rest four didn’t return. They are feared dead in the mishap.
