BMC crosses milestone of 27 lakh Covid-19 vaccination in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) achieved another milestone by administering more than 27 lakh doses of the Covid vaccine.

As of yesterday, a total of 27,03,333 vaccination doses have been administered in the entire Bhubaneswar.

Combining the achievement of both government and private vaccination centers, while 14,15,506 citizens have taken their first dose, out of the same 12,87,827 citizens of all age groups have taken both the doses in the city and as such has been completely vaccinated.

As many as 36,109 healthcare workers have received their first dose while 33,339 have received the second dose. Similarly, 56,328 and 50,759 front-line workers have been given the first and dose respectively.

8.41,178 people between 18-44 years have received their first dose of the Covid vaccine while 7,67,034 have taken the second dose.

People aged 45-60:

1st dose- 3,18,676

2nd dose- 2,89,368

People aged above 60 :

1st dose: 1,58,215

2nd dose: 1,42,327
