Black pulsar borne miscreants snatch Rs. 3 lakh from SHG Women in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Miscreants came in a black pulsar bike and snatched away Rs. 3 lakh, the hard earned money of the women of a SHG group in Bhadrak district of Odisha on Tuesday. The loot took place at the Trekker stand of Eram under Basudevpur NAC of the district.

As per reports, the women of Jay Guru SHG of Bhatapada village under Nuagan panchayat of the district had withdrawn Rs. 3 lakh form the bank for Sunflower farming. President of the SHG Ashamani Nayak and secretary Malati Jena along with other women members of the SHG were waiting at Eram trekker stand to return home. When two of the women had gone to a nearby tube well for drinking water, the black pulsar borne miscreants snatched away the money bag that Ashamani was holding and fled towards Jamujhadi area. As per the women, cash money worth Rs. 3 lakh, mobile phone and bank documents were there in the bag.

After the locals went to know about the loot, they pursued the miscreants but in vain.

After getting information, Police reached the spot and started the probe. The SHG women are deeply saddened following loot of such a huge amount of their hard earned money.
