Notably, BJP’s Secretariat ‘Gherao’ bid comes as a mark of protest against the alleged apathetic attitude of the Naveen Patnaik Government in effectively addressing agrarian crisis in the state.

Earlier, BJP State President Basant Panda had informed that thousands of farmers from all across the state would congregate at Bhubaneswar and gherao the State Secretariat and Naveen Nivas.
