BJP delegates take stock of situation in Nagada despite BJD’s protest Jajpur: A delegation of the state BJP on Thursday took stock of Nagada, a village well-known for malnutrition deaths, despite protests by ruling BJD workers.

The delegation of the saffron party, led by former Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang and spokesperson Sajjan Sharma, took stock of the situation by meeting the villagers personally.

A minor tussle between some BJD and BJP workers erupted at Sukinda and Kaliapani after the former waylaid the latter protesting against the tearing off of a BJD poster in the area. Some of the irate BJD workers were seen sleeping and sitting on the road. However, the local police managed to clear the route.
