Bhubaneswar, Mar 18: State Assembly Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House till 11.34 am as BJP legislators wearing black gowns created ruckus on Saturday.
According to reports, the BJP MLAs raised the farmer suicide issue again and created ruckus during the question hour.
Earlier, as soon as the business of the House began the Speaker had accepted the Opposition’s adjournment notice over farmer suicide deaths.
Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy was slated to keep his views over the issue today.
This is the fifth consecutive day of the second phase of the ongoing Budget Session, that the farmer suicide issue stalled the proceedings of the state Assembly.
