Bhubaneswar: BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra on Sunday claimed that BJP is jealous of Odisha government’s developmental works.
Patra statement came in the wake of BJP-In-Charge for Odisha Arun Singh’s ‘lollipop’ remark on state government. He had said that BJD is a ‘lollipop’ government and it has failed to create job opportunities in the 19 years of its rule.
“Naveen Patnaik led government has expedited the development of Odisha in last four terms and the people are well aware about this fact. Arun Singh’s comments reveal jealousy of the saffron party,” said the BJD spokesperson while reacting to Singh’s comment.
“He should visit the villages across the state and Gurupriya Setu before pointing fingers at the state government,” he added.
