BJP focuses on Odisha; Amit Shah to visit Sambalpur tomorrow

After Union Ministers Ram Kripal Yadav and Dharmendra Pradhan spoke to party workers at Kantabanji, Amit Shah will visit Sambalpur tomorrow. Home minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Bhadrak on February 17 will be followed by UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit on 20 this month

Bhubaneswar: BJP has focussed on western Odisha. Today union ministers Ram Kripal Yadav and Dharmendra Pradhan spoke at a massive summit in Kantabanji of Balangir district organised by the OBC cell of the party. And tomorrow the party’s national president is coming to Sambalpur to address the party workers ahead of the general election.

As per the schedule, Shah will address the party workers at the Dhankauda playground in Sambalpur. He is likely to speak about the strategies on how the party would acquire maximum seats in the upcoming general election.

All arrangements for the meeting have been made at the venue. Many booth level party workers and office bearers from Sambalpur, Bargarh, Dhenkanal and Sundergarh constituencies are supposed to attend the meeting. Shah will also visit Goddess Samaleshawri’s temple in the city later.

Earlier today, Union ministers Ram Kripal Yadav and Dharmendra Pradhan attended a meeting at the Shyama temple ground in Kantabanji where they enlightened the party workers about different schemes of the central government. In his speech, Ram Kripal criticised Odisha government while Pradhan panned Balangir MP Kalikesh Singh Deo.

Again, Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Bhadrak of Odisha on February 17. Singh will speak to the booth level workers in a general meeting of the party. And later, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the state on February 20 to attend public meetings at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi and Nachuni in Khordha district.
