Bhubaneswar: Alleging immediate dismissal of 4 bureaucrats working for state ruling BJD, a delegation of BJP on Saturday met Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Surendra Kumar and sought dismissal of VK Pandian, the private secretary to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and three other bureaucrats of the state from their post.

The delegation of the saffron party led by party’s vice president Sameer Mohanty met Surendra Kumar at his office and handed him a memorandum demanding dismissal of Pandian, his wife and IAS officer Sujata Karthikeyan, Officer on Special Duty to CM DS Kutey and Joint Secretary to CM Gopabandhu Dash.

They alleged that the bureaucrats are indulged in misuse of their official posts and violate the code of conduct in furthering the interests of the ruling party.

“The four officers are working for the BJD by violating the code of conduct. Hence, action should be taken against them. They should be dismissed ahead of the Bijepur by-poll scheduled to be held on February 24. We submitted a memorandum to the CEO in this regard,” said Mohanty while speaking to the reporters.
