Bhubaneswar: BJD to hold its parliamentary preparatory meeting today at Naveen Niwas, Bhubaneswar. This meeting will be held to discuss the plan of action before the budget is presented in the parliament.
The party will discuss its course of action and its reaction to the Central budget.
The meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik himself.
The MPs will meet and discuss in detail the agenda of the party with the CM.
The party will discuss the issues to be focused on.
Discussions will be held on the various demands of the party, and how they will be presented.
The CM might give ideas on the allocation of central funds to Odisha.
He may also discuss the provisions in the railway budget for the State.
In the last budget session BJD had raised issues such as increasing train network, tele density increase and declaring Konark as an Iconic site.
