Chandbali: A BJD student leader was allegedly attacked by a miscreant over past enmity at Chandbali in Bhadrak. The student leader, identified as Prince Rakesh Kumar, has filed a written complaint with the Police in this regard.
As per the complaint, Kumar was attacked by one Chandan Das while he was accompanying BJD MLA and Gram Panchayat members at an inaugural programme in Bhuin Bruti village. The assault reportedly took place at Garipur near Chandabali.
Post the incident, members of BJD Youth wing have demanded immediate arrest of the culprit and stringent action against him. Meanwhile, the Police has initiated a probe into the matter.
