BJD ready for grand welcome of ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ awardee Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: The state ruling BJD has made all necessary arrangements for a grand welcome of the party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who was conferred with the ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ award today.
Around 40 thousand BJD workers and leaders from across the state are slated to give a rousing welcome to Patnaik on his arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport tomorrow.
As per the schedule, they will go on a procession to Naveen Niwas, the residence of Patnaik from the city airport.
Huge hoardings and banners have been put in place throughout the road from the airport to the CM’s residence. Besides, barricades have also been erected on both sides of the road.
“We are extremely proud that Odisha Chief Minister and our party President Naveen Patnaik has been conferred with the ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ award by Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT). We will felicitate him for this achievement on his arrival tomorrow,” said BJD spokesperson and MP Pratap Deb.
Naveen received the ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ award from former President of India Pratibha Patil in a special event in Pune today. MP and Former Union Minister Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi and many dignitaries attended the event.
Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Government had organised the event at Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad.
Patnaik dedicated the award to the people of Odisha.
