BJD appoints Priyadarshi Mishra as party spokesperson

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday appointed Priyadarshi Mishra as party’s spokesperson with immediate effect. Earlier, Mishra held the post of State General Secretary of the BJD.

The conch party had replaced the incumbent MLA of the Bhubaneswar-North constituency with Sushant Kumar Rout.

Likewise, the state ruling party gave new responsibilities to party vice president and Co-operation, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Surjya Narayan Patro. He has been appointed as the senior poll observer for Keonjhar district.

It is pertinent to mention here that Patnaik had appointed Bijaya Kumar Nayak as the general secretary of the party yesterday.
