Bhubaneswar: The state ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) appointed two media coordinators on Wednesday.
BJD President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appointed Sasmit Patra as Electronic Media Coordinator and Manas Mangaraj as Print Media Coordinator.
Patra was named one of the spokespersons of the conch party earlier in April this year.
On the other hand, Mangaraj, who was a Congress candidate for Chilika Assembly seat in 2014 election, had resigned from Congress on March 19 alleging negligence by the party and joined BJD in April.
