Bhubaneswar: In a bizarre incident a cow has been detained in the Police Station due to ownership dispute.
The incident took place in Dhauli Police Station on the outskirts of the capital city of Odisha.
According to reports, a complaint had been filed 5 days ago at Dhauli Police Station regarding missing of a cow. However, today two persons claimed ownership on a stray cow that they found roaming on the street.
As the dispute couldn’t be resolved, the two went to Dhauli Police station to press their claim.
However, Dhauli Police had no other way but to keep the cow detained as dispute over ownership of the cow could not be solved.
