Dhenkanal: Bike-truck accident left one person seriously injured at Pitiri in Parjang in Dhenkanal district on Saturday evening.
The victim was identified as Sumanta Behera who hails from Kualu village in Parjang.
As per reports, the victim was going to Talcher from his native, while the truck was coming from Talcher when they met with an accident at Pitiri.
Sumanta was rushed to Talcher Mandapal Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, locals blocked the road in demand for compensation for the victim and strict action against the driver of the truck.
Police have initiated an investigation regarding the bike-truck accident in Parjanga.
