Cuttack: In an effort to keep Bali Yatra 2019 safe and pollution-free the district administration today held a bicycle rally to create awareness among people.
Named as ‘Mo Cuttack Cycle Rally’ the rally was organized with the help of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) which supplied 200 bicycles and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) which gave 150 bicycles.
Orissa High Court Chief Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri led the rally which started from his residence and finished at Odisha State Legal Service Authority office.
Among others, Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das, Commissioner of Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Sudhanshu Sarangi and DCP Akhileshwar Singh attended the event.
Students from different schools across the Silver City also participated in the campaign.
