Talcher: In a tragic turn of the events, body of an employee of Bhushan company who had gone missing while taking bath in river Brahmani at Dasanali area in here last night was recovered from water this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bimal Kumar Mohanty. He was working in the HR department of Bhushan plant.
Bimal who had gone on a picnic to the river Brahmani bank with four of his colleagues last evening, was taking bath near Nalco Pump House when slipped into the water. Later, fire officials from Talcher rushed to the spot and tried to rescue him but returned empty hand.
The deceased’s body was spotted floating in the river water this morning and recovered by police.
