Bhubaneswar: The Capital City of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, witnessed first gusty wind and rainfall of this year on Saturday.
According to the Bhubaneswar-based regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainfall along with wind and thunder activity expected to continue for another 30 minutes.
Apart from Bhubaneswar, Salepur, Barang, Banki-Dampara, Cuttack Sadar, Tangi-Choudwar, Athagad and Tigiria blocks of Cuttack district along with Badachana block of Jajpur district also experienced the rainfall, wind and thunder activity.
The weather department has already issued a yellow warning for the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Koraput, Gajapati and Kandhamal for the next 24 hours. All these districts will receive rainfall in the next 24 hours.
