Bhubaneswar : As many as 309 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the State Capital to 24,537, said the civic body in a tweet on Thursday.
Out of the fresh 309 Covid-19 cases in the State Capital, as many as 83 cases have been detected from quarantine, while 226 are local contact cases.
The BMC said that as many as 317 persons of the city have recovered from Covid-19 in last 24 hours.
The active cases of the State Capital stand at 3,519, the civic body said.
In a tweet, the civic body updated the newly detected Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours under the BMC area.
