Bhubaneswar: 9 new cases of Coronavirus have been detected in Smart city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 1, 2022 the cases were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Gajapati Nagar, Jaydev vihar, Baramunda, Khandagiri, and Rasulgarh area of the city. On the other hand, 2 cases were reported from CS Pur, Surya nagar area.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,679. The recovered cases are 1,55,372. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 93. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 2.
Odisha on Wednesday reported 14 new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
The positive tally stands at 12,88,454.
Reportedly, among the 14 eight patients are in quarantine, and six are local contacts.
The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 79.
