Bhubaneswar reports 12 Coronavirus positive case on June 15

Bhubaneswar: 12 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 15, 2022 the cases reported in the city were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Jaydev Vihar, Pokhariput, Sundarpada, Patia, CSpur, Bhimtangi, Gajapati Nagar, and Bapuji Nagar area of the city. Similarly, 2 cases were registered from Kalinga nagar and Dumduma area of Bhubaneswar.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,775. The recovered cases are 1,55,412. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 149. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 5.

Odisha on Wednesday reported 22 new Covid cases, and informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,696.

Reportedly, among the 22 it is to be noted that 13 patients are in quarantine and nine are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 166.

Khordha reports the highest cases with 16 positives followed by State Pool (3), Balasore (1), Balangir (1) and Jagatsinghpur (1).
