Bhubaneswar records highest temperature by 11.30 am

Bhubaneswar: The capital city of Odisha sizzled at 40 degrees Celsius by 11.30 am on Saturday, informed the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

Reportedly, the temperature recorded by 11.30 am today are as follows, Balasore at 37.2°C, Jharsuguda: 37.8°C, Gopalpur: 30.6°C, Sambalpur: 37°C, Paradip: 31.8°C, Puri: 32.4°C, Chandbali: 37.8°C, Koenjhar: 36.6°C and Hirakud: 38.6°C.

The weather department has also informed that there is a possibility of heatwave in some districts of the state from April 25.

Adding to it, The day temperature in Odisha will rise in by 3-5 degrees Celsius, informed the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
