Bhubaneswar records 13 Covid positive cases while Cuttack records a single case today

Bhubaneswar: Positive cases of Coronavirus have significantly reduced in the twin city of Odisha. As on  9 March, 13 Covid positive cases were reported in Bhubaneswar. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) reported a single positive case.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1,56,373 while the total recovered cases are 1, 54,881. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1191.  Active cases in the city are 280. The number of recovered cases today is 9.

In CMC, the single positive case was found to be a local contact case. 2 recovered cases were recorded today in the silver city.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 56,016 while the recovered cases are 55,556. The active cases today are 31. The total deaths in the city are 429.

Odisha on Wednesday reported 128 fresh cases of Covid including 25 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,86,245.

Reportedly, among the 128 positives, 75 patients are in quarantine, and 53 are the local contacts. There are as many as 1110 active cases in Odisha.
