As per the report, members of Bhubaneswar Bus Owners’ Association and staff of two Bhubaneswar bound buses from Puri indulged in a verbal duel at Kalpana Square this morning over the timing issue which caused the logjam.

Passengers faced a tough time as around 75 buses plying from Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to Puri and 65 buses from Puri stayed off road since this morning due to the spat. Both the associations, the Bhubaneswar Bus Owners’ Association and the Private Bus Owners’ Association of Puri remained adamant on their stance in the case.

On the other hand, the Secretary of Puri Private Bus Owners’ Association, Lokanath Pani claimed that at least 12 buses from Puri have been detained at the Baramunda bus stand following the dispute which has made it impossible for them to ply buses to the capital city.
