Bhubaneswar Based Fraudster Shows Interest In Buying Bikes, Flees With Them

Bhubaneswar: A case of online fraud has come to the fore yet again where an unknown miscreant looted several vehicles under the pretext of test drive in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the man had posted an advertisement for selling his vehicle on the official website of OLX.

The fraudster showed interest to buy the vehicle. It was fixed between them that he will buy the vehicle after going on a test ride.

The miscreant took the vehicle under the pretext of test drive and fled away with it.

Thereafter the victim lodged an FIR. The Commissionerate Police successfully arrested the alleged thief.

During questioning it came to notice that he targets the online vehicle sellers. By using the same trick he has been committing this fraud since months and selling them at low costs.

The police has seized a total of 11 vehicles from him.
