Bhubaneswar and Cuttack record 175 and 22 positive cases respectively on October 27

Bhubaneswar: As on October 27, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered 175 new covid-19 positive cases while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 22 cases.

Cuttack city has witnessed 27 recovered cases while Bhubaneswar has recovered 255 recovered cases today informed CMC and BMC respectively.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 175 positive cases detected today, 49 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 126. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 39.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 17,766 while the total recovered cases are 1, 13,476. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1049.  Active cases in the city are 3220.

Out of the total 22 cases registered in CMC on Wednesday, 05 cases are from institutional quarantine, 11 cases are from home quarantine and 06 local contact cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,729 while the recovered cases are 43,935. The active cases today are 703.
