Bhubaneswar Airport chosen for Voice of Customer Recognition 2021 by ACI

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar has been chosen for Voice of Customer Recognition 2021 by the Airports Council International (ACI) World’s Voice of the Customer initiative. This was informed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Thursday.

Apart from Bhubaneswar Airport, six other airports from India – Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Pune, Patna and Chandigarh – have been selected for Voice of Customer Recognition 2021 by Airports Council International.

The Voice of Customer Recognition 2021 by the ACI is a recognition for an airport that prioritized listening to customers during the pandemic.

Till now, as many as 140 airports have been recognized for the same around the world.

The Airports Council International had conducted the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey globally with an aim to measure passenger’s satisfaction, whilst they travel through an airport.

“ASQ Awards recognize those airports around the world that deliver the best customer experience in the opinion of their own passengers. The ASQ programme provides the research tool and management information to better understand passengers’ views and what they want from an airport from the products and services standpoint,” said a release issued by the PIB.
