Bharat Bandh: Train Services Affected In Various Parts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar:  The Bharat Bandh called by ten trade unions disrupted normal life in many parts of Odisha today.  Protesters have obstructed train services all over the state.

Around 25 crore workers of the various trade unions are expected to participate in the nationwide strike today. Trade unions are protesting against the alleged anti-worker policies of the Central government.

Trains have been stopped or blocked by protesters at various stations throughout Odisha.

The Bhadrak-Berhampur passenger train has been blocked in Bhadrak station. Keonjhar- Bhubaneswar passenger train has been stopped in Keonjhar station.

Two trains have been blocked in Bhubaneswar station as the protesters are sitting on the tracks. Due to blockade of the Bhubaneswar- Bolangir inter-city and Puri- Rourkela passenger trains commuters are facing problems.

The Howrah- Yeshwantpur Express and Ichhapur-Cuttack MEMU have been blocked at the Berhampur station.

Passengers are facing lots of problems as most of them are forced to wait at the stations.
