Bhadrak Violence Victims To Get Rs 2.65 Crore From CMRF

The Odisha government will provide compensation worth Rs 2.65 crore to 469 shop owners who suffered losses during the communal violence in Bhadrak recently.

The compensation would be disbursed from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) within three days.

Earlier on Sunday, the Odisha Government had announced the compensation to the victims following the detailed damage assessment report prepared by the Bhadrak district administration. It had said that the victims would be entitled to get a maximum monetary assistance of Rs 2 lakh and a minimum of Rs 15,000.
