Bhadrak: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted raids at the residence and other places belonging to Bhadrak District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) programme officer Sandeep Mohanty in connection with a disproportionate asset (DA) case.
Sources said, the Balasore Vigilance SP had directed to conduct the raids.
Vigilance officials conducted simultaneous searches at five different places including in Bhadrak, Puri and Bhubaneswar.
The anti-corruption officials raided his chamber at the DRDA office, his ancestral house at Asthala and in-laws houses at Kuansa in the district and his two houses in Puri and Bhubaneswar.
The total estimation of assets disproportionate to Mohanty’s known sources of income was yet to be unearthed as vigilance raids were underway, till the report was filed.
