Ganjam: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with the Junior Clerk, R & B Division No-I, Berhampur in Ganjam on Thursday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets. The Junior Engineer has been identified as L. Kamaraju Das.
Reportedly, the vigilance sleuths conducted a raid at several places including his double-storeyed residential building located at Khala Sahi in Ankuli of Berhampur, three other places at Ankuli of Berhampur, Office of Das at R & B Division No-I in Berhampur on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance team led by two DSPs, five Inspectors, and other staff.
Further investigation regarding the vigilance raid is underway, details awaited.
Earlier on December 28, Junior Engineer, R.W. Section-I, Digapahandi, under Rural Works Division No-II, Berhampur was also in Odisha vigilance net on allegation of accumulation of DA.
