BEO suspends School Principal-In-Charge as National Flag remained on mast till next day in Odisha

Balasore: Simulia Block Education Officer (BEO) Mayadhar Sahu on Thursday suspended the principal-in-charge of Kuladharabinda Primary School after the national flag, which was hoisted on the 72nd Independence Day yesterday, was seen flying on the mast till this morning.

The suspended the Principal-in-charge has been identified as Chittaranjan Das.

According to the Simulia BEO, some locals complained him that the national flag was flying on the mast till this morning, following which Sahu initiated a brief inquiry into the incident and suspended Das.

As per the Constitution of India, the national flag should always be taken down before the sunset.
