Umerkote: Bears have been spotted roaming around in a village in Umerkote block of Nabarangpur district in Odisha.
The reports from Burja village are scary. The village is only 5kms away from Umerkote city center. Two bearss have been spotted roaming fearlessly in broad daylight in the village.
The villagers have resorted to scaring them away with fire, but in vain.
The scared villagers were at their wit’s end but finally, they were successfully able to shoo away the bears to the nearby Muturma Forest range.
