Kuchinda: Three miscreants looted more than Rs 10 lakh at gunpoint from the Jamankira branch of Andhra Bank here in Sambalpur district today.
According to the eyewitnesses, three bike-borne masked miscreants barged into the bank and looted Rs 10.93 lakh from the locker of the bank after threatening the bank officials and customers at gunpoint.
The looters even stole the hard disk of the CCTV cameras installed on the premises of the bank when they fled from the spot on a Pulsar bike.
Police reached the scene after getting information and launched an investigation. Police have put up check-point at the major entry and exit point of the area to apprehend the trio.
