Balasore Scholar Alok Ranjan Becomes ISRO Scientist

Balasore: A scholar from Balasore’s Praharjapur has been selected for the Scientists’ Panel of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The scholar, namely Alok Ranjan, hails from Praharajpur under Bhogarai block of Balasore district. Out of the 100 candidates selected in the first phase, Ranjan stood at the 16th position.

Ranjan is a plus-III student at Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore. He will now pursue further studies at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), USA’s National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and at renowned institutions in Russia.
