Bhubaneswar: The bail plea of former secretary of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Ashirbad Behera was today rejected by the District and Sessions Court, Khurda.
Behera was arrested by the CBI on September 19 for his slinks with money deposit collection company, Artha Tatwa (AT).
Earlier the court of Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, CBI has also rejected Behera’s bail plea on the day he was arrested by the investigating agency.
In August this year, the CBI had filed a supplementary charge sheet against Behera in connection with his involvement in promoting the ponzi firm. Behera allegedly received around Rs 1 crore as part of the deal to promote the ponzi firm.
