Jajpur: Three more persons have been arrested for their involvement in the attack on journalists case at Binjharpur in Odisha’s Jajpur district.
According to reports, Police have arrested Prasant Mallick, Pradip Mallick, and Sarat Mallick of Bamdebpur village today and forwarded them to the court.
With the arrest of the three persons today, the number of the total arrested persons has risen to 15.
It is to be noted here that three journalists – Debashis Sahoo, Gulshan Ali Nawaz, and Bijay Sahoo – were beaten up while they were covering an alleged incident of booth rigging while the third phase of three-tier rural polls were underway in the Binjharpur area of Jajpur district.
