Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with Assistant Executive Engineer of R&B Division No-IV, Bhubaneswar on Monday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
The Assistant Executive Engineer has been identified as Ajaya Kumar Mishra.
Simultaneous searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by five Deputy superintendents of police (DSPs), 11 Inspectors, and other staff.
Based on a piece of reliable information, the vigilance sleuths have conducted raids at six places in Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, and Angul districts on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal.
1) Residential rented house of SO located Block no-B/202, Sai Garden Apartment, Shree Vihar, Patia, Bhubaneswar
2) Triple storied building of SO located over plot no-130/99,khata no-51/13,mouza-Alasua, Tarini Nagar, Dhenkanal Sadar, Dhenkanal.
3) Single storied building of SO over plot no-126/200 & 130/99,khata no 51/13,mouza-Alasua,Tarini Nagar, Dhenkanal Sadar, Dhenkanal.
4) Triple storied building of SO located over plot no-343/4605,khata no-511/4057,mouza-Raghunathpur, under Nandankanan police limits in Bhubaneswar.
5)Paternal house of SO located at vill-Kakudi, PO-Kankili, under Talcher police limits in Angul.
6) Office room of the SO located in the office of EE, R&B Division no-IV, Nirman Soudha, Bhubaneswar.
Till the last reports came in, four expensive bikes, one car, three plots, two three-storeyed house, 10 plots worth more than Rs 10 crore, Rs 84,500 cash and seven bank accounts have been seized, informed Vigilance SP Akshaya Mishra.
