Ashok Parija appointed as Advocate General of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha on Monday appointed senior advocate of Orissa High Court, Ashok Parija as the new Advocate General of the State.

Parija will replace Prasad Mishra for the post, a legal advisor to the State government.

Born in 1961, Parija was enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council of Odisha at the age of 23. He began his legal practice under former Advocate General of the State, Bijoy Mahanty.
