Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Arun Bothra took the additional charge as the Managing Director of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) here in Odisha on Tuesday.
This post was earlier held by Balwant Singh, who was transferred as Collector of Puri district last month.
Soon after assuming the office, Bothra has invited suggestions and feedback to improve public transport service, especially Mo Bus service in the cities of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.

The CRUT, established under the Housing and Urban Development department, provides public transit services within the capital city of Bhubaneswar and in its neighbouring cities of Cuttack and Puri.
The public transport services ‘Mo Bus’ and ‘Mo Cycle’ are being operated by CRUT in these three cities.
Bothra, a 1996-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer, is currently holding the post of Inspector General (IG) of Crime Branch, Odisha Police.
