Cuttack: In fond memory of Odia film actor Mihir Das, who passed away few days back, the artisans from Kumbhar Sahi in Cuttack are sculpting a large image of the late actor.
As per reports, as many as fifteen artisans are putting effort day and night to sculpt a seven feet high statue of Odia film’s veteran actor Mihir Das. The work is going on in the Kumbhar Sahi of the silver city.
The said statue is to be inaugurated on February 11 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the actor. Actor Sritam Das said that the statue has been perfectly sculpted and it looks exactly like the late actor. Mihir Das will always be in the heart of the residents of Cuttack, he also said.
