The fourth edition of International Art of Giving Day, was celebrated across Odisha and the rest of the country on Wednesday. Art of Giving is a non-profit initiative founded by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS.
As part of the celebrations, Dr. Samanta flagged off a cyclothon from Mayfair Lagoon in the presence of former Union minister Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray, footballer Shradhanjali Samantaray and Ollywood actor Sabyasachi Mishra.
Dr. Samanta also distributed Kindle sets to the students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, the world’s largest residential school.
Sand artist Sudam Pradhan created a sand art on the occasion. Besides Malkangiri, Bhadrak, Puri and other districts in Odisha, Art of Giving was observed in Bangalore, Kolkata and Patna.
